The Person
- Proven new business development experience within automotive, parts, or trade distribution.
- Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing a field-based diary.
- Full UK driving licence.
The Role
- Identify, approach, and convert new trade accounts across the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with garages, fleet operators, and independent retailers.
- Develop and execute a structured territory plan to maximise coverage and revenue.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and account structures within agreed parameters.
- Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and account performance.
- Represent the business at trade shows and industry events as required.
