The Person
- Proven experience in a senior manufacturing, operations, or plant leadership role within a complex production environment.
- Strong track record of leading multi-site manufacturing operations and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing operational budgets and holding P&L responsibility.
- Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large cross-functional teams and developing future leaders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
The Role
- Lead and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple production facilities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, process optimization, and capacity planning.
- Take ownership of manufacturing KPIs, including output, quality, safety, delivery performance, and operational profitability.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with wider business objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, procurement, quality, and commercial teams to improve operational performance.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital investment projects to support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
- Provide leadership and direction to site management teams, fostering a high-performance culture and strong employee engagement.
